From the classroom, to your keyboard

I came to piano tuning from the classroom. I taught music at a Title I middle school here in San Antonio, pouring everything I had into my students — until the program was cut. I wasn't ready to leave these instruments behind, so I picked up the tuning hammer and began caring for pianos across the city.

I'm newer to tuning than the long-time hands in town, and I treat that as a reason to be more careful, not less. Every piano gets my full attention, honest and affordable pricing, and the same ear I brought to a room full of young musicians — with the simple goal of leaving your piano sounding like its best self.

Typically once a year. Pianos played more often — for church services or recitals — or instruments that have gone a long time since their last servicing may need tuning more frequently.

Anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, depending heavily on the condition of the piano. I will let you know what to expect before I start.

Yes — interior and exterior cleaning, polishing, and detailing, as well as repairs to damaged strings, keys, and other parts.
